1. Viktiga säkerhetsinstruktioner

Please read this manual carefully before operating the dehumidifier and retain it for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

2. Produkt överview

The Quigg® LE 2017.17 Dehumidifier is designed to reduce humidity levels in your home, preventing mold, mildew, and musty odors. It features a 5.5-liter water tank and options for continuous drainage.

3. Inställning

3.1 Uppackning

Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

3.2 Placering

Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface in the area where humidity control is desired. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around all sides of the unit for proper airflow.

3.3 Strömanslutning

3.4 Vattenavloppsalternativ

Avfuktaren erbjuder två dräneringsmetoder:

1. Vattentank: The dehumidifier will collect water in its internal 5.5L tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. You must then manually empty the tank.
2. Kontinuerlig dränering: For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, connect a suitable drainage hose (not always included, check packaging) to the continuous drainage outlet at the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage into a floor drain or larger container.

4. Bruksanvisning

4.1 Kontrollpanel

The control panel is located on the top of the unit and features various buttons and a digital display.

• Strömknapp: Slår på/av enheten.
• Lägesknapp: Selects operating modes (e.g., continuous, automatic).
• Knappar för luftfuktighetsinställning (+/-): Justerar önskad luftfuktighetsnivå.

4.2 Initial drift

1. Koppla in avfuktaren.
2. Press the Power button to turn the unit on. The display will show the current room humidity.
3. Use the Humidity Setting buttons (+/-) to set your desired humidity level. A common comfortable range is between 40% and 60%.
4. The unit will start operating and the compressor will engage if the room humidity is higher than the set level.

4.3 Driftlägen

• Automatiskt läge: The unit will automatically adjust its operation based on the set humidity level. It will cycle on and off to maintain the desired humidity.
• Kontinuerlig avfuktning: In this mode, the unit will run continuously regardless of the humidity level until the water tank is full or it is manually turned off. This mode is ideal for very damp environments or for drying laundry.

4.4 Timerfunktion

Timerfunktionen låter dig ställa in en specifik tid för när enheten ska slås på eller av automatiskt.

• Automatisk avstängning: While the unit is running, press the Timer button to set the number of hours (e.g., 1-24 hours) after which the unit will turn off.
• Auto-på: While the unit is off, press the Timer button to set the number of hours after which the unit will turn on.

5. Underhåll

Regelbundet underhåll säkerställer optimal prestanda och förlänger livslängden på din avfuktare.

5.1 Tömning av vattentanken

When the water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and an indicator light will illuminate. Carefully remove the water tank from the back of the unit, empty the collected water, and then reinsert the tank firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the tank is properly seated to resume operation.

5.2 Rengöring av luftfiltret

Luftfiltret bör rengöras varannan vecka eller oftare beroende på användning och luftkvalitet.

1. Stäng av avfuktaren och dra ur sladden från eluttaget.
2. Locate the air filter grille at the back of the unit.
3. Ta bort filtret.
4. Rengör filtret med en dammsugare eller diska det med varmt tvålvatten. Skölj noggrant och låt det lufttorka helt innan du sätter tillbaka det.
5. Reinsert the dry filter and close the grille.

5.3 Rengöring av enhetens utsida

Torka av avfuktarens utsida med en mjuk, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these may damage the surface.

5.4 Förvaring

Om avfuktaren inte ska användas under en längre period:

1. Töm vattentanken och se till att den är helt torr.
2. Rengör luftfiltret.
3. Dra ur sladden till enheten och rulla ihop nätsladden ordentligt.
4. Store the dehumidifier in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
