Drive the vehicle to an open, level area away from large metallic structures. Press and hold the calibration button (often labeled with a compass icon) for approximately 9 seconds until 'CAL' or 'C' appears on the display. Drive slowly in up to 3 complete circles until the text disappears and a directional heading is displayed.
Press and hold the 'melody selection/pairing button' on the receiver for about 5 seconds until it makes a 'Ding Ding' sound. Within 30 seconds, press the push button once. The receiver will sound a 'Ding' to confirm the pair. Finally, press the pairing button on the receiver again to exit pairing mode.
