Alcyon recommends using their Diffuser Cleanser every few weeks. Run the cleaner for a 2-hour cycle to remove residual sediment from essential oils, then rinse and wipe the tank with a soft cloth. Alternatively, a 50/50 mix of warm water and vinegar can be used.
All Alcyon Ultrasonic Diffusers are covered by a limited one-year warranty from the date of purchase. This covers operational faults but does not cover breakages or faults from misuse.
First, ensure the power adapter is properly connected. Check if there is insufficient water or if the water level exceeds the maximum line (usually 100ml to 240ml depending on the unit). Empty excess water if it is overfilled. Also, check if the mist outlet or ultrasonic pad needs cleaning.
If your Alcyon diffuser is knocked over during operation, water may enter the internal space. Immediately unplug the unit, empty any remaining water, and allow it to dry completely for at least 3 days before attempting to use it again.
