  • How do I adjust the deadbolt for the correct backset?

    The latch is usually initially set for 2-3/8 inches (60mm). You can switch it to 2-3/4 inches (70mm) by pulling back the block to extend the tongue, then rotating it down.

  • How do I use the installation template?

    Fold the provided paper template at the dotted line and tape it to the interior side of the door, usually at a 36 to 38-inch height, to accurately mark the hole centers for drilling.
