The Giraffe Machine can be powered by either 3 AA batteries or via a 5V USB connection. If powered via USB, the height sensor remains on standby without needing calibration for the next use.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and log into the app. Select 'MEASURE', choose 'Scan Device', and press and hold the 'PAIRING' button on the Giraffe base for 3 seconds to connect.
If the height column displays 'Ho', simply push the Giraffe head down completely to reset the height measurement to its initial position.
Stand still on the scale until you hear one beep, then press 'TARE' to reset the reading to 0.0. Step off the scale, pick up your baby, and step back on. The display will show the baby's weight.
