While wearing disposable medical gloves, take a sterilized disposable needle cartridge and insert it into the machine body. Depending on the model, twist to lock it securely into the snap-fit or twist-lock mechanism.
For line work, typically use 5-9V for a rapid needle penetration frequency. For shading and filling, voltage is generally increased to 6-12V to generate stronger force for needle penetration.
